Deacs Decide is Wake Forest University’s campus-wide, nonpartisan initiative to help students participate in civic and democratic life. Through voter registration and education, opportunities for dialogue, and programs that build civic knowledge, Deacs Decide helps students feel informed and prepared to participate in elections and engage with their communities.
Through Deacs Decide, students can:
- Learn how to register to vote and make a voting plan.
- Explore issues and perspectives that shape elections and our communities.
- Build skills for having thoughtful, constructive conversations across differences.
- Learn how democracy works and how they can participate in it.
- Develop the skills to identify reliable political information and recognize misinformation.
