The Summer Nonprofit Immersion Program (SNIP) program is a full-time, eight-week summer program that allows individuals the opportunity to provide direct service support to select community partners.
Examples of service include:
- Helping to close the gap in summer learning loss
- Distributing food to struggling children and families
- Recruiting, training, and coordinating community-based volunteers
- General capacity building
Applications for both community partners and individuals interested in the SNIP program open annually in January/February.

Additional Information
- Be 18 years or older
- The Summer Nonprofit Immersion Program will run from June 4, 2025-August 1, 2025.
- Members will be expected to serve full-time, in person throughout their internship.
- Housing & Transportation
- Interns not wishing to utilize University housing will be required to secure their off-campus housing.
- Interns who are also current students at Wake Forest are eligible for need-based assistance with on-campus housing.
- Interns will need to have access to reliable transportation throughout their internship.
- Interns will receive a stipend for their time and service. Stipends will be split across two equal payments and issued in June and July, respectively.
